A Tribute :)

Glad to share,

Your fond reflections,

Kindling the poetic flair,

Hidden in my emotions,

To you, I offer my homage,

Through my scribblings amateur,

As my thoughts wear the plumage-
of words; Inspired by you two!


Tribute to two of my friends, whose poems inspired me to re-employ my pen :)

Dear Friends..

The emotional support,
The little acts of concern,
The good wishes and prayers,
And the funny moments spent together,
For everything you've been,
For everything you were a part of,
I'll stay bound, forever to you,
With bonds of friendship and gratitude!

An ode to all those friends who stood by my side at times of distress, who shared my smiles and trusted me and for those who are going be the same to me, in the years to come. :)

Agony!

I can't see a thing,

for, my eyes are raining,

Only 'love' can lead me to,

the way I can reach you through!

Deja Vu :)

I know you only yesterday,
How did you get so close?
Been talking to you in my thoughts,
Can't live without you any more!

A strange feeling that grips my heart, when I see some places, meet some people. I feel like I've known them for long time and a sense of closeness unknowingly enters my emotions :)

Imagination!

With the clouds so high,

I float in the sky,

Among the stars so bright,

I gleam with might,

With the tide I rise,

And fall as rain,

With the wind I sing,

And dance with glades,

I fly as a bird,

Across different worlds,

I may age and get old,

Or stay young and forever bold,

Fancy of a poetess, I am,

Limitless and fearless!

Morning :)

As the early rays,

Touching  the earth’s face,

Creep through your window,

Carrying the fragrant cold flow

Of the soothing morning breeze,

From over the dew clad leaves,

Wake up, my sweetheart,

From the dreams of the past,

Into a day that beholds,

Surprises, as the reality unfolds!

I wish..

I do not know,

How to begin,

Nor do I know the theme,

Yet, I wish to write,

And let my pen bleed

I do not know

Whether to rhyme,

I do not know the style

Yet, randomly I wish to spill

A few thoughts from my quill

I do not know,

If I will be read

Or discarded totally,

But, I wish to see,

My ideas bloom excitedly.

It’d always be so,

Between you and me,

The exuberance of hearts

In each other’s company

I assure you dear,

That life will ever be

As you want it to see,

An exciting spree

A long journey together

Your hands held in mine,

My eyes locked on yours

Ours, let those moments be

As I cherish my union with thee!
